Six-Hour Victoria Falls Guided Tour Across Zimbabwe and Zambia with Hotel Transfers
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Victoria FallsSix hours with private transportation and a live guide, crossing between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The route follows rainforest paths and viewpoints on both sides, with a stop at the Big Tree and a walk on the Victoria Falls Bridge. Valid passports and visas are needed for the crossing, and entry fees are paid separately. The Big Tree is a baobab of about 24 meters (79 feet) in height with a girth of about 22 meters (73 feet), which makes it one of the largest in the world, and its age is estimated at 1,500 to 2,000 years. David Livingstone carved his name into a different baobab on Garden Island, but the Big Tree stands near the site where he made landfall in 1855. A curio market nearby sells local crafts and souvenirs. The Victoria Falls Bridge is a historic steel arch built in 1905, spanning the Zambezi between the two countries. Walkers get views of the falls and the gorge and time for photographs. It is also a popular spot for bungee jumping. Bottled water, raincoats and an air-conditioned vehicle are included, and an Italian-speaking guide can be arranged on request for an additional fee. Meals and the park entrance fees (USD 50 on the Zimbabwean side, USD 20 on the Zambian side) are not included. Up to 12 travelers per booking.
