Small-Group South Coast Day Trip from Reykjavik: Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss and Vík

This 10-hour day trip leaves Reykjavik by minibus with an English-speaking guide, collecting travelers from hotels or meeting points in the city, depending on location. The booking options include a small-group version capped at 19 people, so the group stays manageable at every stop. Seljalandsfoss opens the route, with its path behind the falling water. Close by, if conditions allow, is Gljúfrabúi, a waterfall tucked into a crevice in the rock that many visitors walk past. Skógafoss follows, dropping 60 meters (196 feet) and often throwing rainbows on clear days. At Sólheimajökull the group gets close to the ice formations and the volcanic ash trapped in the ice. The black sand beach at Reynisfjara has Atlantic waves breaking against basalt columns and rock formations rising from the sea.
