Toronto Evening Coach Tour to Niagara Falls with Whirlpool Rapids and Maple Tasting
A guide and a coach take the group from Toronto to Niagara Falls for an evening that runs from golden hour into the night. Departure is at 2:00PM, and guests should arrive by 1:45PM. The drive follows the Niagara River Parkway to the Whirlpool Rapids, where there is a stop for photos and a short lesson on the geology of the river. Maple Leaf Place comes next for tastings of Canadian maple syrup, artisan chocolate and fudge. Then the coach continues to Table Rock Welcome Centre, where the group stands at the brink of Horseshoe Falls for the golden-hour and evening light. Two upgrades can be added. One is a three-course Fallsview dinner at Queen Victoria Place, which comes with exclusive access to the Illumination Tower and its control room, where guests pick the colours that light the falls. The other is the Niagara City Cruises boat ride into the mist at the base of the falls, available in summer only, roughly May to November. Guests without an upgrade have free time at Clifton Hill or along the Niagara Parkway. The evening ends with the nightly fireworks, weather permitting, and the illumination display. The return to Toronto is around 12:00 AM in summer and 10:30 to 10:45 PM in winter.

Meet the coach at 55 York Street, right in front of Tim Hortons, 15 minutes before departure. Several coaches use the location, so wait for the Gray Line agent holding a manifest with your name.
