This full-day trip leaves Toronto in the afternoon and finishes after dark at the falls. Pickup is included, from Toronto pick-up points and from the airport, and a professional guide takes the group around Niagara Falls and the historic sites nearby. The day starts with the Niagara Whirlpool and its class 6 rapids, followed by a maple syrup tasting. The boat is the Hornblower cruise, formerly Maid of the Mist Canada, which runs from April to November. In winter Journey Behind the Falls takes the place of the boat; outside winter it can be added as an extra. Time at Clifton Hill, the gardens and floral displays at the falls and the Table Rock Welcome Centre fills the evening. After dark the falls light up in a show of revolving colours across three waterfalls. From May to October, weather permitting, the day ends with the fireworks over the falls, billed as the largest fireworks show in Canada. A buffet dinner overlooking the falls can be added as an option: it is 80 feet long and includes live cooking. Boarding is at 20 Bay Street in Toronto at 1:00pm, with a return at about 11:30pm. Bookings need a minimum of 2 people.
