Victoria Falls
A full-day trip of about ten hours that sees the falls by foot, by speedboat, from across the gorge and from the lip. The day starts at 08:00 at the reception of your hotel in Livingstone or Victoria Falls. A minivan crosses the border into Zimbabwe, the driver helps with the immigration formalities, and the drive of about an hour might pass wildlife on the road. A guide then leads a nature walk through the Victoria Falls Rainforest on the Zimbabwean side, with facts about the geology, wildlife and history of the falls. After that the group crosses to the Zambian side. A speedboat on the Zambezi goes to Livingstone Island, at the edge of the falls, where a buffet lunch with a view over the water is included. Guests then have the chance to swim in Devils Pool, also called Angels Armchair, a natural pool with the water dropping away right behind. Another speedboat ride brings everyone back to the bank. In the late afternoon the group is taken back across the border, with possible stops at other viewpoints. Drop-off is around 17:30 to 18:00. Included are bottled water, all transfers and immigration assistance, the entrance to Livingstone Island and Devils Pool, the bridge crossing fees and the activities in the itinerary. Visas, gratuities and the park entrance fees for Zimbabwe and Zambia are not included. A valid passport is required and the minimum age is 12. Up to 15 travelers per booking. All sales are final.
