This guided day trip covers Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side and the Zambian side in a single outing. A professional English-speaking guide leads the way between the lookout points, and a stop at a local market leaves room for souvenirs. Pickup is at 8:30am from selected accommodations in Victoria Falls Town and Livingstone Town. The day begins on whichever side you are staying, and the guide helps with the border crossing between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Bottled water and raincoats come with the tour, which matters in the high-water season, when spray soaks cameras and phones. Expect roughly six hours, depending on walking pace, time at each viewpoint and border formalities. Park entrance fees on both sides are paid separately, and so are visas. The KAZA Univisa (USD 50) allows multiple entries between Zimbabwe and Zambia when your nationality is eligible. Otherwise a Zimbabwe double-entry visa (USD 50) is the alternative. Bring US dollars in cash, because card machines at the border are sometimes down. Food and drinks are at your own expense. Groups go up to 15 travelers per booking, guiding is in English, and the walking suits all fitness levels.

  1. Victoria Falls

The day starts with a hotel pickup at 8:30am. Guests staying on the Zimbabwean side begin there and guests on the Zambian side begin in Zambia, so the order of the two banks depends on your accommodation. The guide then leads the group to the lookout points over Victoria Falls, with views of the water as close as the paths allow, and the tour covers the falls from both sides of the border in one day.

  2. Victoria Falls

Professional guides accompany the group throughout the day while it views the falls from Zimbabwe and from Zambia. Food and beverages are paid for by guests. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included in the price.

  • Visa Requirements – Zimbabwe & Zambia: Guided Tour of the Falls from Both Sides We recommend purchasing the KAZA Univisa (USD 50) if your nationality is eligible, as it allows multiple entries between Zimbabwe and Zambia during its validity and is the most convenient option for this tour. It also covers day trips to Botswana via Kazungula. If your nationality is not eligible for the KAZA Univisa, we recommend purchasing a Zimbabwe Double Entry Visa (USD 50) before crossing into Zambia and returning to Zimbabwe. The good news is that most nationalities do not require a visa for Zambia, but requirements vary depending on your passport. Please bring cash (USD) for visa payments, as card machines at the border may occasionally be unavailable. If you are unsure which visa applies to your nationality, please contact us before your tour and we will be happy to assist you with the correct visa requirements.
