Victoria Falls Guided Tour by Arnolubi Safaris, Zambian and Zimbabwean Sides (12/12)

A guided tour of Victoria Falls on both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides, run by Arnolubi Safaris and Tours. The falls are 1,708 meters wide and drop 111 meters into the Batoka Gorge, with around 550 million liters of water going over the edge every minute. Spray from the thundering water feeds the rainforest around the falls all year, and some of the plant species there are rarely seen elsewhere in Zambia. A professional safari guide covers the history of the falls along the way. During peak flow the Zambian side is at its best, and walkways lead to vantage points across Knife-Edge Bridge. The falls are known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, the Smoke That Thunders, and sit on the Zambezi River at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, the park around the falls, hosts one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and when the river runs high a towering column of spray rises above it. The price includes bottled water, rain jackets and an air-conditioned vehicle. Entry fees for the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides and a camera are not included. Up to 15 travelers can book together, all fitness levels are suitable, and guiding is available in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish.
