Victoria Falls Two Hour Guided Walk of 16 Viewpoints with Hotel Transfers
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Victoria FallsA two hour guided walk through Victoria Falls National Park on the Zimbabwe side, with hotel transfers. The driver collects guests from their hotel or lodge in an air-conditioned vehicle with chilled mineral water, and it is a short drive to the entrance of the falls. The walk begins at the gallery and passes all 16 head-on viewpoints on the way to the bridge. The main waterfall is 1.7 km wide, and its view is the most photographed at Victoria Falls. The guide also tells of the visits of David Livingstone and Cecil John Rhodes to the falls. The best times of day bring rainbows and clearer photographs. Tour slots run from 08h00 to 10h00, 10h00 to 12h00, 12h00 to 14h00 and 15h00 to 17h00. The rainforest is soaked by constant spray. Raincoats and umbrellas can be hired at the park or brought along, and waterproof cameras and an extra plastic bag for gadgets are advised. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a sun hat are also worth packing. A wheelchair can be hired for $30. Pickups on the Zimbabwe side cover the Zimbabwe side only, and pickups from Livingstone in Zambia cover the Zambian side only. The guide can arrange an extension to see both sides. The drive back to the lodge passes the Big Tree, and a shopping stop can be added after the tour.
