Victoria Falls Zimbabwe Side Guided Walk with Wildlife Safari by Savannah Adventures
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Victoria FallsSavannah Adventures adds a wildlife safari to the usual walk around the Zimbabwe side of Victoria Falls. Licensed local guides take the group through the bush on the way to the entrance of the falls, in an area where wildlife sightings are common but never guaranteed. Only then does the walk enter the park. Inside, the path leads into the rainforest that the constant spray keeps alive, where lush vegetation, unusual plants and birds thrive. Clearly marked paths lead to the best viewpoints, and the guide explains the geology, history and surrounding nature. The whole tour takes about 110 minutes. Guests meet the guide at the entrance of the national park, by the ticket booth. The guide wears a Savannah Adventures uniform or a hat with the logo, and guests staying in Zambia meet at the same Zimbabwe-side entrance. Bottled water is included, while park fees depend on nationality and are charged on entering the park. Bring a raincoat or poncho. Guiding is in English, German, French or Spanish, and up to 12 travelers can join one booking. The tour suits all fitness levels but is not recommended for travelers with disabilities. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund.

Victoria Falls
The Zimbabwe side of Victoria Falls is the main sight of the region, and the largest sheet of falling water on Earth: thunder, mist and rainbows rise above the gorge. The walk enters the rainforest created by the constant spray, where lush vegetation, unusual plants and many birds live in a rare ecosystem. The guide follows clearly marked paths to the best viewpoints and explains the geology, history and nature along the way. Park fees are not included and depend on nationality.
