Walking Route to Salto do Cabrito, Salto da Farinha and Ribeira dos Caldeirões

This is a walking tour for people in good physical shape who like to walk. The point is to be outdoors and take in the smell and sight of the countryside. Salto do Cabrito is the first stop, a double waterfall of about 40 meters on the Ribeira Grande stream. Travel time is already counted in the total duration. Next is the slender waterfall at Praia Moinhos in Porto Formoso, a walk of about 5 minutes, with hydrangeas and plenty of vegetation around. Salto da Farinha follows, surrounded by basalt and an invasive plant, with the sea visible at the other end. In Nordeste the route stops at the Ponta do Tranquilo and Ponta da Madrugada viewpoints. The last stop is the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, with its waterfall, picnic park, water mill, lake and viewpoint, plus craft shops and cafeterias.
