Waterfalls in Jamaica: Where to Go and What the Tours Cost
101 tours read one by one, from under 30 to more than 250 EUR. Eighty-one go to the hills around Ocho Rios, 20 to YS Falls on the south coast, and the typical price is 120 to 250 EUR.
Waterfalls in Jamaica are sold almost entirely as day trips, and the typical tour costs 120 to 250 EUR. Of the 101 listings we read, 54% are private, and 60 operators share them. The second thing worth knowing is that nearly all of them point at the same two places: 81 listings go to the hills around Ocho Rios, to Dunn's River Falls and the Blue Hole, and 20 go to YS Falls on the south coast. This page is about the country. It says which Jamaican waterfalls can be booked and which cannot, how far apart they are, what each costs and when to go. The two destination pages linked below read the tours one at a time.
Hurricane Melissa, a category 5 storm, hit Jamaica on October 28, 2025. Dunn's River reopened on November 11, 2025 and YS Falls on January 24, 2026. For the other falls we found no official reopening date, and the page says so where it matters.
What this page does that the others do not: it compares the country's falls, including the ones with no tour, and it tells you how to choose between the north coast and the south. The Ocho Rios page goes deep on Dunn's River and the Blue Hole and on the four ways of buying them. The YS Falls page does the same for the south coast.
The short version. Staying near Ocho Rios: book Dunn's River if you want the climb and the Blue Hole if you want to swim and jump, and expect roughly 60 to 250 EUR. Staying in Montego Bay or Negril: Dunn's River is a day of driving with a climb in it, and typically 120 to 250 EUR. Looking for a quiet day on the south coast: YS Falls, in the 120 to 250 EUR band, if its calendar fits your dates. Then read the pages below for who runs what and what is actually included.
A note on the prices before you read them. Private tours are more than half of the set, and they are priced per person, like shared seats: only one of the 55 private listings, the Dunn's River Falls and Shopping Tour at 120 to 250 EUR, quotes a single price for the whole group. Still read what each price includes before you compare a private listing with a shared one.
