Datanla Canyoning Day with Pickup at Linh Son Pagoda: No Experience Needed, Picnic Lunch

No canyoning experience is needed for this five-hour day at Datanla Falls. Professionally trained guides teach the rope work first, then lead a mix of hiking, rappelling, swimming and sliding down the falls. The group meets in front of Linh Son Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Da Lat, at 109 Nguyen Van Troi, and the trip ends at the same place; vehicle transfers follow the program. Included are canyoning equipment, a wetsuit, one picnic lunch, purified drinking water and English-speaking guides (Vietnamese is also offered). Anything not listed, along with personal expenses, is extra. Shorts, a t-shirt and sport sandals or water shoes are the recommended outfit. Tell the operator about dietary requirements when booking. A moderate level of fitness is needed, and the trip is not recommended for pregnant travelers, travelers with poor cardiovascular health or anyone afraid of heights. Bookings take up to 12 travelers, and a minimum of two applies: if too few people sign up, the trip can be canceled after confirmation, with an alternative or a full refund offered.
