Datanla Canyoning in Da Lat: 6-Hour Private or Group Trip with Summit Picnic

This is a six-hour canyoning day at Datanla Waterfall, about 5 km south of Da Lat. The route goes down the falls on ropes, with water sliding, a zipline and hiking along the way, and lunch is a Vietnamese picnic eaten on top of the highest waterfall, with the valley view all around. The day ends with a party by the lake: kayaking, swimming, fresh fruit, snacks, biscuits and cold beers, with the guide along. Professionally trained guides run every descent, and wetsuits and rope gear (Petzl, Beal and Black Diamond) are supplied. Transport, a fruit snack, purified drinking water, a first aid kit, and all fees and taxes are covered. The picnic is seasonal fruit, pork and bread; anyone with special dietary requirements should tell the operator one day in advance. Up to 15 travelers can be on one booking, and a private-group rate is selectable in the options. Guiding is in Vietnamese and English. The day suits all fitness levels, but it is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or pregnancy. Children under 150 cm cannot join, a safety rule set by the waterfall management, so families should contact the operator before booking. Personal medical insurance with evacuation cover is not included and is recommended.
