Full-Day Canyoning at Datanla Falls: Meet at the Prenn Pass Gate, Picnic Included

Going down a waterfall looks frightening, and that is the draw: the rush before the first descent, the relief at the bottom. This full-day canyoning trip at Datanla Falls runs about seven hours, with a safety standard the operator calls international and certified. The day is split between ropes, water and a long stop for food, a picnic lunch with hot chocolate, tea, fruit and cake. The group meets at the Datanla gate on Prenn Pass, in the parking lot off QL20, and the trip finishes at the same spot. Guiding is in English, and each booking takes up to 15 travelers, who share the descents with other thrill-seekers. A moderate level of physical fitness is needed. The trip is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or pregnancy. Personal medical insurance that includes evacuation cover is recommended and is not part of the price.
