  1. Linh Phuoc Pagoda

Linh Phuoc Pagoda, also called Ve Chai Temple, stands at 120 Tu Phuoc, Trai Mat, 8 km from the center of Da Lat on Highway 20. A 49 m dragon with a 7 m head is built from 12,000 bottles. The 33 m by 12 m main hall has cobblestone mosaics and bas-reliefs of the life of Shakyamuni and the Lotus Sutras. The Maitreya Buddha sits in the dragon's mouth, and a 37 m seven-storey bell tower, the highest temple bell tower in Vietnam, faces the grounds.

  2. Datanla Waterfall

Datanla Waterfall is on Prenn Pass, about 5 km south of Da Lat city center. It is a small fall of about 20 m from a rocky cliff into a deep pool, among pine forest and flowers. Its alpine coaster, 2,400 m long, is the longest in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, and runs through the pine forest above the falls.

    Extra fee

  3. Truc Lam Monastery of Da Lat

On the road to Tuyen Lam Lake, a zigzag climb leads up Phoenix Summit to Truc Lam Zen Monastery, in open natural surroundings. The monastery revives the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen school founded by King Tran Thanh Tong, and sits on a protected forest of 23.2 hectares, 2 of them built up. The monk Thich Thanh Tu built it in 1993 and 1994 in an oriental style, and it is both a place for meditation and a place to visit.

  4. Tuyen Lam Lake

Tuyen Lam is the largest freshwater lake in Da Lat, covering 350 hectares. Calm pine forest surrounds it, and islets covered in pines and mist dot the water. The green of the forest against the blue of the lake gives the place a relaxed feel.

  5. Dalat Railway Station And Museum

Dalat station is on the Da Lat to Thap Cham line. French architects Moncet and Reveron designed it in 1932, and it opened in 1938. It sat largely unused after the railway closed during the later Vietnam War years, and returned to limited service in the 1990s with a 7 km stretch of track to Trai Mat, run as a tourist attraction. Its style mixes Art Deco with elements of Central Highlands communal houses.

  6. Xuan Huong Lake

Xuan Huong Lake covers 32 ha with an average depth of 1.5 m, at 1,478 m above sea level, and is considered the heart of Dalat. It used to be a swamp, and the rice field of the Lach minority people, near the Da Lach stream, now the Cam Ly stream.
