Private Dalat Countryside Tour: Pongour, Elephant Falls, K'Ho Village and Coffee Farm
This private day out is built around the countryside south and west of Da Lat: two waterfalls, a K'Ho minority village, a silk factory and a coffee farm. It takes about five hours. A private car, van or bus collects travelers from the hotel and brings them back, and the guide speaks English (Vietnamese is also available). The program starts at a coffee farm, where the coffee-making process is explained over a cup of Vietnamese coffee. It then moves to the Thien An cricket farm and its organic rice wine cooking, the silk factory with its silkworm rearing, Elephant Waterfall, Linh An Pagoda, the K'Ho village and Pongour Falls. If time allows, the last stop is Tuyen Lam Lake, also called Paradise Lake. All entrance fees and a liter of mineral water per person are included. Lunch, personal spending and a Da Lat airport pickup are not. The tour runs daily for two or more people; a solo traveler is taken by motorbike instead of car. Up to 30 travelers fit on one booking, and the day suits all fitness levels.
