Private Dalat Waterfall Tour by Car or Van: Pongour, Elephant and Datanla Falls
Three waterfalls, a coffee farm, a silk factory and a pagoda fit into this private six-hour day out of Da Lat. Pongour, one of the biggest falls of the Central Highlands, comes first. Elephant Falls follows, where the spray cools the air, and Datanla ends the waterfall run; the alpine coaster there is optional and paid separately. The stop at a coffee farm explains how the beans are produced and leaves time for a cup. At the silk factory the silkworms are raised and the silk made in front of visitors, and at Linh An Pagoda the giant Happy Buddha statue brings happiness and luck, by local belief, next to the tallest Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam. A private car or van collects travelers at the hotel and returns them, with all entrance fees, half a liter of mineral water and an English-speaking local guide covered. Lunch and personal spending are extra, and a Da Lat airport pickup costs USD 25 to 35, paid in cash. Two people are the minimum; a solo traveler goes by motorbike with the guide. Service animals are allowed, and a booking holds up to 30 travelers.
