Private Wadi Shab Adventure with Restaurant Lunch Stop, Sinkhole and White Sand Beach

This private full-day trip is for travelers who want to see what Muscat has to offer beyond the city. The day centers on the wadi, where there is time to enjoy the surroundings, take photos, relax and swim. The route runs along the coast from Muscat to Quriyat and over the plateau, then down to Wadi Shab. A walk of about 40 minutes through the canyon and green terraced gardens leads to a series of streams and pools. The water is clear enough to swim, and a narrow keyhole opens into a cave with a waterfall inside. The wadi floor is strewn with rocks and pebbles, which makes walking difficult, so sturdy walking shoes are advised. A picnic is also mentioned for the stop. Lunch comes after the wadi, at the nearest restaurant. The afternoon includes the Bimmah Sinkhole, a big crater near the sea with a small lake at the bottom, believed to have been created by a meteor, and the white sand beach at Fins, a quick stop for a photo.
