Wadi Shab, the Bimmah Sinkhole and Fins Beach make up this private day from Muscat, which lasts about eight hours and takes up to six travelers per booking. Pick-up and drop-off at a hotel, port or airport in the Muscat area is included, in a 4WD or saloon vehicle with fuel, bottled water and an English-speaking Omani guide. At the hotel the guide waits in the lobby; at the airport the guide waits in the arrivals area with a sign showing your name and the company logo. Wadi Shab is the main event. The road runs along the coast to Quriyat and over the plateau, and the walk inside the canyon takes about 40 minutes through green terraced gardens to a chain of streams and pools. The water is clear, and swimmers can pass through a narrow keyhole into a cave with a waterfall inside. Rocks and pebbles cover the floor of the wadi, so sturdy shoes are advised. Next is the Bimmah Sinkhole, a limestone depression filled with clear water where visitors swim or take photos. The day ends at Fins Beach, a stretch of white sand and pebbles beside blue water. Lunch and the boat across the water at Wadi Shab (1 OMR) are not included.
