Three-Day Ijen Blue Fire, Tumpak Sewu and Bromo Tour from Bali by Ferry

The route starts in Bali, with Ijen on the first night. A pickup from a hotel in the Bali area around 8 pm sends a private, comfortable car and driver to Gilimanuk port for the crossing to Java. At Ketapang port the tour guide takes over, and the group heads to the Paltuding camping ground area for the trek up Mount Ijen, with its sulfuric blue lake ringed by mountains and the blue flames. Then the drive goes to the Tumpak Sewu area for a night in a hotel. The second day is for the waterfall, where the guide's instructions are followed on the trail for safety. The day ends with a drive to a hotel in the Bromo area, with a short lunch break on the way. On day three a 3 am start takes a jeep to King Kong Hill for the sunrise, followed by a look around Bromo's landscape, breakfast and check-out. At the end of the trip, drop-off is in Surabaya, Malang or Bali. The price includes a private 4WD jeep, bottled water, a guide and driver, an air-conditioned vehicle, breakfast, hotel accommodation for two nights, a gas mask, headlamp and health certificate for Ijen, tolls, parking and fuel. Meals are extra, as are Bromo horse riding and the coffee break. A high level of physical fitness is needed, and up to 9 travelers can book together.
