Three-Day Private Tumpak Sewu, Bromo Jeep and Ijen Crater Tour with Goa Tetes

The sequence here is waterfall, volcano, crater, with a hotel night at Bromo and another in Bondowoso. Day one begins at 5 or 6 am with the drive from Surabaya or Malang, arriving at Tumpak Sewu around 9:30 am. The group has until 12:30 for the waterfall and nearby Goa Tetes Cave, then drives to a hotel in the Bromo area to check in, and the guide can take travelers to a restaurant for an optional dinner. Day two starts with a pickup at 2 am and a 4WD Bromo jeep to the sunrise viewpoint, a coffee break while waiting for the sun (viewing runs from 5 to 6 am), and then a drive to Bromo crater with a hike to the top. Breakfast comes on the way back to the hotel, and around 9 am the group checks out and goes to a hotel in Bondowoso. Dinner with the guide is again optional. Day three starts with a midnight pickup and a drive to Paltuding at Ijen Crater, where a boxed breakfast is provided. At about 2 am the trek of an hour leads to the summit and the blue fire, subject to safety conditions. From 4 to 6 am the view is the sunrise over the turquoise crater lake. Back at the hotel by 8 am, check-out is around 10, and the return goes to Surabaya or Malang, or straight to Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi after Ijen. The weather changes, so layers and a camera are worth packing.
