Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Trek with Motorbike Shuttle and Hotel Pickup from Malang

Tumpak Sewu lies about 60 km from the center of Malang, roughly a 3-hour drive. Since the flood of 7 July, the bridge access from Malang has not been fully rebuilt, so this trip adds a motorbike shuttle: the private car goes as far as the border, and guests ride the rest of the way to the waterfall entrance with a motorbike driver. The shuttle is part of the price, and the car waits at the shuttle base. The day starts with hotel pick-up at 7:00, with an optional quick visit to Jodipan colorful village. After about 2 hours on the road, the group reaches the parking area and the panorama viewpoint around 10:00. A local trekking ranger (basic English, able to help with photos) then leads the way in through the cave waterfall entry and down to the base of Tumpak Sewu, with the return climbing back up through the same entry. The group is back at the parking spot around 13:00 to clean up, then heads to Malang with an optional lunch stop, arriving around 17:00. Hotel pick-up and drop-off, bottled water, the ranger and private vehicle are covered. Lunch and gratuities are not. Moderate fitness is needed; not recommended for pregnant travelers or with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health. Minimum age 18. Up to 5 travelers per booking, guiding in English.
