VIP Dalat Canyoning with Rope Training: Knots, Harness, Abseiling and Local Lunch

Dalat is one of Vietnam's most adventurous towns, with mountain biking, forest walks and climbs on offer, and canyoning is the activity this six-hour day is built around. A guide leads the group down a gorge with waterfalls by abseiling, climbing, zip-lining, sliding, jumping and swimming. No experience is required, only a little courage. Before the first descent, professionally trained canyoning guides teach how to set the rope, the basics of knot tying, how to wear a harness and how to abseil safely. After that the group tackles the waterfalls together. The price covers all equipment (wetsuit, harness, carabiner and figure eight, jacket and helmet), an air-conditioned vehicle, and a local lunch of Vietnamese food with water, tea and snacks. Gratuities and personal expenses are extra. Guiding is in English, and each booking takes up to 15 travelers. A moderate level of fitness is needed, and the day is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or pregnancy.
