Bali Day Tour to Four Waterfalls: Tegenungan, Tukad Cepung, Kanto Lampo, Tibumana
Ubud is known for arts and crafts, but the villages around it are cut with rice fields, forest and waterfalls. This eight-hour day tour takes in four of them: Tukad Cepung, Kanto Lampo, Tibumana and Tegenungan. Tukad Cepung sits between tall rock cliffs, and the way in is a narrow gap that almost feels like a cave. Kanto Lampo is a naturally formed fall that comes from low ground near village houses rather than from the highlands, with water stepping down through several rock levels. Tibumana looks like twin falls side by side; when the river above runs low, a single 20-meter fall remains over a pool that is not too deep, and tires are on hand for floating. Tegenungan is about 25 meters high with a heavy flow, popular for photos and swimming, and the water steps over rocks instead of dropping sheer. Balinese Hindus regard it as a place of purification. The driver is an English speaker who knows the roads around Ubud. The car is private, air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi. Included are bottled water, insurance and, as an option, entrance tickets. Meals and personal expenses are not included. Up to 15 travelers can share a booking, and the trip suits all fitness levels. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers or anyone with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health.

-
Tukad Cepung Waterfall
Huge rock cliffs enclose the fall. Visitors squeeze through a narrow gap between them, almost like a cave, before reaching the water. Bathing under the spray and photographing the scene are the main draws.
-
Kanto Lampo Waterfall
A naturally formed waterfall that flows from lowland near local houses. Several hollows above are blocked by hard rock, and the walls form multiple standing levels. Cool water is a relief on a hot day.
-
Tibumana Waterfall
Two falls run side by side like twins. When the river above runs low, one fall of 20 meters remains. The pool beneath is shallow enough for swimming, and tires are provided for floating.
-
Tegenungan Waterfall
A fall of about 25 meters with a heavy flow. It is popular for photos and swimming. The water spreads over rock steps in a gentle motion, and Balinese Hindus see it as a place for purification.
Not included
- Meals fee and any other personal (optional) expenses.
