Beji Griya Holy Waterfall Healing Tour With Ceremony Dress and Rice Terrace Lunch
Locals call the ritual melukat. It is carried out at holy water sites to purify mind and soul, and at Beji Griya, a waterfall temple regarded as one of the most sacred places for this cleansing, it forms the center of a five-hour healing tour. The setting is quiet: rice fields, hidden canyons, waterfalls and Balinese architecture surround the site. Guests receive a Balinese ceremony dress and admission to the healing ceremony, and a guide explains the ritual before and during the bath. A private car with a driver takes the group between the stops, for up to ten travelers per booking. Afterward the route continues to Uma Pakel Agro Tourism for traditional herbal tea with a view over the jungle. A giant swing and a bird nest photo spot are there for anyone interested, but their admission is not included. The tour finishes with a lunch of traditional Balinese food at the Tegalalang rice terrace, taken with the terraces spread out in front. Mineral water is included too. Personal shopping is not. The tour suits all fitness levels. It is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Guiding is in English, and service animals are allowed.
