Customizable Private South Coast Tour with Six Stops, Pick-up and Drop-off
This private south coast tour lets the group shape its own route, which suits families, friends and other small groups after an exclusive day out. Six stops are named: Seljalandsfoss in Hella, where visitors can walk behind the falling water, Skógafoss in Skógar, a drop of over 60 meters with stairs up to a view from the top, the village of Vík, Reynisfjara beach, Sólheimajökull glacier and Dyrhólaey. Vík has black sand beaches, cliffs and rolling hills, and its church, Víkurkirkja, is a place to learn about the village's history and traditions. Reynisfjara lies on Route 215 and is known for its basalt columns and rock formations. Sólheimajökull, close to Vík, has ice formations, crevasses and ridges, and is popular for glacier hiking and ice climbing. Dyrhólaey is a promontory of lava cliffs reaching into the Atlantic, with views toward Reynisfjara and Sólheimajökull. Pick-up and drop-off, extra stops on request and an English-speaking guide are part of the service. Private transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle with WiFi on board, all fees and taxes and the additional stops are included. Lunch and gratuities are not. The tour suits all fitness levels, but it is not recommended for pregnant travelers or for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. A booking takes up to 15 travelers.
