Door-to-Door Ubud Waterfall Trip With Entrance Fees: Kanto Lampo, Tibumana, Tukad Cepung
This ten-hour private trip suits photographers and anyone who prefers not to drive in Bali. It runs door to door, with a driver who doubles as the guide, and it covers three of the waterfalls around Ubud. Kanto Lampo is a multi-tier fall set in a canyon, where water seeps down the rocks into a river. Standing at the bottom feels like being deep in the Ubud jungle. The walk down the stairs is easy, but the spot is not the best for swimming, so it is mostly a place for scenery and photos. Tibumana is a hidden fall north-east of Ubud, reached by stairs and a pathway, and the mountain water is fresh enough for a swim. Tukad Cepung is among the most photogenic falls in Bali, known for rays of sunlight that cross the canyon-like rock walls. The walk goes down stairs and a jungle path, then follows the river between rocks until the fall appears under a cave. Entrance fees, parking fees, bottled water, private transport and an air-conditioned vehicle are all included. Lunch and personal expenses are not. Anyone curious about traditional Balinese food can ask the driver to stop somewhere along the route. Up to 15 travelers can book together, guiding is in English, and the trip suits all fitness levels. It is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health.
