Private 2-Day Angkor Highlights, Bakheng Sunset, Kulen Waterfall and Banteay Srei Tour (5/5)

Two days that pair the main Angkor temples with a trip to Phnom Kulen National Park, known as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. Day one runs from Angkor Wat through the Small Circuit and Angkor Thom to Phnom Bakheng, where the last stop is the climb for sunset (it can be skipped by anyone who would rather not wait). Day two starts before dawn for sunrise at Angkor Wat, and after breakfast the group drives to Kulen: the carved riverbed of the 1000 Lingas, the big reclining Buddha cut from a giant rock, and a waterfall with a swimming spot. The afternoon after lunch covers Banteay Srei, the pink sandstone Lady Temple, plus Banteay Samre and Pre Rup. The price covers a licensed English-speaking guide, a private air-conditioned vehicle with driver, hotel pickup and drop-off, cold drinking water and wet towels, parking fees and road tolls. The Angkor temple pass, the Phnom Kulen park ticket and lunches (about 5 USD a dish) are not included. Up to 15 travelers can book together, infants must sit on an adult's lap, and the route suits all fitness levels.
