Private 3-Day Angkor Wat, Banteay Srei and Phnom Kulen Tour with Driver and Guide (5/5)

Three days with a private driver and a licensed English-speaking guide, split between the Angkor temples and the Phnom Kulen National Park. The route is set but the pace is yours: start times can be adjusted with the guide, and the group decides how long to stay at each stop. Day one heads out to Banteay Srei, 37 km from Siem Reap, early enough to beat the crowds, then continues to Phnom Kulen for the waterfall and the 1000 Shiva Linga carved into the riverbed. Day two begins at 4:45 am for sunrise at Angkor Wat, followed by Angkor Thom's South Gate, the Bayon, Ta Keo and Ta Prohm, with lunch at a local restaurant near the temples. Day three covers the eastern Angkor circuit: Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, Eastern Mebon and Pre Rup, ending with sunset over the West Baray. The price covers fuel, cold drinking water, an air-conditioned SUV or minivan, the driver, the guide and hotel pickup and drop-off. The three-day temple pass, the Phnom Kulen park fee, meals (about $6 to $8 a plate at the lunch stops) and airport transfers are paid separately. Up to 9 travelers can share one booking. Shoulders and knees must be covered at the temples, and a moderate level of fitness is expected. The vehicle is wheelchair accessible.
