Private Bali Day Tour: Leke-Leke Waterfall, Handara Gate, Ulun Danu Bratan, Taman Ayun
Photographers will find plenty to work with on this eight-hour private day through north-central Bali. The car is air-conditioned and the driver or guide speaks English, so the group moves between stops without handling roads or parking. The day pairs one waterfall with three of the island's best-known photo locations. Leke-Leke is a hidden fall in the north of Bali. The path runs through a jungle with fresh air, the area sees fewer tourists, and swimming in fresh water is possible. The Handara gate is a popular sight, framed by smoky hills in the background. Pura Ulun Danu Bratan floats on Lake Beratan with green hills behind it, a favorite temple view. Taman Ayun, in the village of Mengwi, is a major temple and a palace-style complex whose name means beautiful garden. It shows early Balinese architecture and gives a sense of how Balinese royals lived behind palace walls. The price includes the air-conditioned private car, petrol, parking, all entrance tickets, bottled water and the driver or guide. Lunch and personal expenses are not included. Adult price applies to every participant, but children under 3 travel free. Infant seats are available, service animals are allowed and up to 14 travelers can book together. Guiding is in English. The tour suits all fitness levels, though it is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health.
