Private Full-Day Bali Waterfall Trip: Four Falls With Entrance Tickets Included
This nine-hour private trip visits four waterfalls east and south of Ubud: Tukad Cepung, Tibumana, Kanto Lampo and Tegenungan. The vehicle collects you at your hotel or villa in Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua, Legian, Jimbaran, Sanur, Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, Ubud or Denpasar, and only your own party rides in it. Tukad Cepung is the first stop, a short walk down that ends with wading through a knee-high river. Sunbeams cut through the top of the falls on a clear day. Tibumana follows, reached along a palm-lined road. Kanto Lampo is a stepped cascade that takes about 15 minutes to reach, and photographers can climb the rocks above it. After lunch at a restaurant, the last stop is Tegenungan, where the water is clear enough for a swim. The route also passes Elephant Cave. The price includes all entrance tickets, an English-speaking driver who acts as guide, an air-conditioned vehicle, petrol and parking, tax and service. An Indonesian set menu lunch is included if that option is selected, and a vegetarian choice can be requested at booking. Personal expenses are extra. Start times are flexible on request. Bring sunscreen, a camera and a change of clothes. Dress is smart casual, the minimum age is 5 and the maximum is 60. Up to 30 travelers can book together, and guiding is in English or Malay.

Tukad Cepung Waterfall
The walk down takes about 15 minutes and is easy, apart from the final stretch, which means wading through a knee-high river and over a few rocks. On a sunny day, sunbeams cut through the top of the falls and light the canyon-like walls. Swimming is possible, and visitors can get close without much spray.
-
Tibumana Waterfall
A road lined with palm trees runs about two minutes before the car park and makes a good photo stop. The waterfall itself is not yet a tourist hotspot, though Instagram is slowly changing that.
-
Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Water spills down a stepped rock formation in the Gianyar area near Ubud. It is a seasonal fall, and the walk takes about 15 minutes, with no long trek. A dam feeds it and the fall is new, which has brought some income to local villagers. Photographers can climb the rocks above it.
-
Tegenungan Waterfall
Tegenungan lies halfway between Ubud and Denpasar, about a half-hour transfer southeast of Ubud town. A paved village road passes rice fields, then a trail of a few minutes leads past the shops to a green valley. Flow is strongest in the wet season, October to April. A dip in the plunge pool is possible, but not after heavy rain because of flash flood risk.
