Ubud Private Day Tour: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan Waterfalls
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
UbudThis eight-hour private day trip links three waterfalls around Ubud: Tukad Cepung, Tibumana and Tegenungan. Tukad Cepung comes first. A flight of stairs and a jungle path lead down to a river, and the last stretch runs between rocks until the fall appears under a cave. Tibumana sits north-east of Ubud. Reaching it means more stairs and a footpath, and at the bottom is a pool fed by fresh mountain water where swimming is allowed. Tegenungan is the largest of the three and the closest to the town centre. It has plenty of photo spots and a good place to swim, and it draws bigger crowds than the other two. The booking covers a private tour in an air-conditioned minivan with hotel or port pickup and drop-off, bottled water, lunch, and all fees and taxes. Alcoholic drinks and gratuities are extra. Guiding is in English, and one booking takes up to 15 travelers. The walks involve steps and uneven ground, so travelers should have at least a moderate level of fitness. The minimum age is 7. The trip is not recommended for pregnant travelers or anyone with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health. If the jungle swing option is selected, riders must be at least 10.
