A single private vehicle and a guide who also drives carry the group through six stops over roughly ten hours, with no other travelers on board. The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary opens the day, with a guided walk among hundreds of Balinese long-tailed monkeys, 14th-century temples and the dragon-carved bridge over the Campuhan River gorge. Happy Swing Bali follows, with its entrance ticket included; the swing rides themselves are optional and paid on site for guests under 120 kg. Tegalalang Rice Terrace is next, then Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple, a water temple north of Ubud with koi ponds and moss-covered shrines. A coffee and tea tasting in the highland village of Tampaksiring comes before the last stop, Tegenungan Waterfall, where steps lead down to the valley floor. An Indonesian lunch overlooking a jungle valley is optional. Entrance tickets, a snack with coffee or tea at the rest area, insurance, bottled water and an air-conditioned vehicle are included. The route is wheelchair accessible, and up to 14 travelers can book together.

  1. Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

A guided walk among hundreds of Balinese long-tailed monkeys in their jungle habitat. The route passes 14th-century temples under tall trees, the dragon-carved bridge over the Campuhan River gorge and moss-covered shrines.

  2. Happy Swing Bali

Bali's best-known photo swing, with views over jungle and rice terraces, a bird's nest, a couple's bed and a gate as photo spots. The entrance ticket is included, along with dress rental and on-site photographers. Swing rides are optional, paid on site, for guests under 120 kg.

  3. Tegalalang Rice Terrace

A famous terrace valley north of Ubud, with emerald-green paddies carved into the slope. Paths run along the edge, and the guide explains how farmers use the subak irrigation system. There is free time at a warung or restaurant overlooking the terraces.

  4. Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple

A water temple north of Ubud, surrounded by gardens. Legend says the 9th-century sage Rsi Markandeya meditated here on his way to Mount Agung and a holy spring appeared; it is still believed to protect travelers. Koi ponds, moss-covered shrines and courtyards fill the grounds.

  5. Tampaksiring

A break in a cool highland village with Balinese coffee and tea tasting and views over green valleys. A flower garden of marigolds, roses and tropical blooms is good for photos, and the stop explains how Balinese coffee is roasted and brewed.

  6. Tegenungan Waterfall

A powerful cascade dropping into a natural pool among jungle. Steps lead down to the valley floor for close views, or the falls can be seen from the viewpoint at the top. The guide helps find photo angles.
