Ubud Private Tour: Kanto Lampo, Tibumana and Tukad Cepung Waterfalls with Swing
Three waterfalls and a rice terrace swing fit into this private day out of Ubud, which runs about eight hours. Kanto Lampo is first, a cascade over tiered rock in Gianyar, with natural pools and small streams for photos and refreshing water. Tibumana, in Bangli regency, is the quieter one, falling into a pool where visitors can swim. Tukad Cepung is partly hidden in a cave, where sun rays entering through the top can throw reflections and rainbows. Getting there means a rocky path and a stream to wade through. A local restaurant lunch breaks up the day before Tegalalang Rice Terrace, where narrow paths run between the paddies, the subak irrigation system is explained and the swing is the finale. Entry tickets to the terrace and all three waterfalls, fuel, parking, bottled water and an air-conditioned vehicle are included. Lunch, swing fees and gratuities are not. Up to 15 travelers can book together. The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health.
